Anderson Thees is the CEO of Apontador, the leading geolocation platform in Brazil. Anderson has been working with technology in emerging markets for 15 years. He started in the technical side as a software developer, moved to investment analysis on the private equity industry, and is now back to Internet operations in management. Prior to joining Apontador, Anderson was the LatAm Investment Officer of Nasper/MIH. Previously served as business director at Eccelera, a LatAm Private Equity firm, and before that as web specialist at UBS, in Zurich. Anderson holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Unicamp and an MBA from Yale University

Rafael Siqueira studied Mechatronics at POLI/USP, is the founder and CTO of Apontador. Rafael started working with location in 1999, and he’s been focusing in LBS, Local Search, Online Advertising and SEO. Nowadays coordinates development and research projects, such as, collect on and analyses of information of the movements of over 12 million site users, with the objective of suggesting revelant information based on every user behavior, in space and time.

Frederico Hohagen graduated in advertisement from FIAM, he has acted in the commercial department at Maplink since 2000, on that time he participated in several conferences, workshops and other international events, always in the digital maps and online advertising market. For seven years he’s been the main executive for the new business at Maplink. In 2008 after the merge with Apontador, Hohagen has become the company’s Director of Sales & Marketing.

Leandro Martins, CFO of Apontador, has 10 years experience in finance functions, in media, capital markets and real estate industries. Helped float and acted as investor relation for Abyara, a real estate company listed in Bovespa. Before joining Apontador, was controller of a startup real estate company focused in low income segment. Leandro holds a BA in Business Administration from the USP and a degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from FIA.
